On the 7th of September, we have the traditional celebration of Panagia Mousgiotissa. The cultural association "Platanias' friends" is responsible for the organization of the festival.


In the begging of August there is  a beach party. Music breezness, good mood and dance all night until early in the morning in the beach of platanias.

Between the 15th and 25th of August, a traditional fisherman's night is organized in Platanias in honour of the visitors.


On the 12th December, the church of St. Spyridonas celebrates in the traditional monastery.
